1400-year-old Hereke Castle is preparing to open to tourism

The historical Hereke Castle, which is estimated to have been built during the Roman Empire period in the 640s, was unearthed in the Hereke region. The castle, which was destroyed in time, was restored by the Körfez Municipality, in accordance with its original form, using the drawings of Matrakçı Nasuh.
