Singer Gülçin Ergül, who lost her lover Erdal Şeyda Lafçı in a traffic accident last December, answered the questions of reporters in Cihangir the previous evening. Ergül said, “I made a song for my boyfriend,” and could not hold back her tears while speaking.

The young singer Gülçin Ergül, who continued her career alone after making a name for herself with the Hepsi Group, went to İzmir last December with her lover Erdal Şeyda Lafçı. He had a traffic accident in the Susurluk area of the Istanbul Highway. While Ergül was injured in the accident, her lover died at the scene. The successful singer, who had a difficult time and received psychological support, was seen in Cihangir the previous evening.

Stating that they were talking about a new project with her music video director friend , Ergül said, “I made a song for my boyfriend who passed away. “I reflected my feelings in their purest form. The song I made alleviated my pain a little bit. Music was my biggest refuge in this difficult time.”
“I DON’T WANT TO CRY”
Talking about the unfortunate accident, Ergül said, “It’s really hard to accept. I’m just coming back to myself. I’m trying to get over the trauma I went through. Inside that car. It was a miracle that I survived,” he burst into tears after he said.
Gülçin Ergül was with her friend of 6 years, businessman Erdal Şeyda Lafçı for a while. The duo announced their relationship in May 2021 with a post on their social media account. Ergül’s lover Erdal Şeyda Lafçı died in a traffic accident last December.
