Swiss singer Fatma Güneşer fulfilled the will of the late Ahmet Kaya 22 years later. Kaya asked Güneşer to sing Turkish and Kurdish in the same song.
Singer Fatma Güneşer shared the same stage with the late Ahmet Kaya 22 years ago. Güneşer stated that they had a chat with Kaya backstage after the concert and said that the deceased artist asked the famous singer to Turkish and Kurdish in the same song.

Singer Fatma Güneşer, who shared the same stage with Ahmet Kaya, is deceased. He talked about the dialogue between him and the artist. Güneşer said, “He told me ‘Turkish and Kurdish’ in the same song. We agreed to go on stage together. However, the tour could not take place because he passed away. I also fulfilled his will by reading the Cyprus folk song called Famagusta Harbor in Kurdish and Turkish.”
