According to the weekly weather forecast of the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), heavy rain will be effective in Istanbul for 3 days. It is estimated that the air temperature will increase throughout the country at the weekend and continue around the seasonal normals, and it will rise above the seasonal normals in the western parts. Today, it is predicted that the southeast of the country and the western parts of the country will be partly and very cloudy, rain and showers, thunderstorms in places around Ağrı, Van and Hakkari after noon, sleet and snowfall in the high parts, and less cloudy and clear in other places.
In the morning and at night, haze and occasional fog are expected in the south and east of Marmara, in the inner parts, and icing and frost in the eastern parts. MGM also reminded that there is an avalanche risk in the inner and high parts of the Black Sea and in sloping regions with high snow cover in Eastern Anatolia.
