Hicran’s family, who has not been heard for 20 days, made a statement saying, “65-year-old Yaşar Şahin sexually assaulted our daughter Hicran while she was at the end of high school.” The Hicran family also stated that Şahin forced the girls into involuntary union by holding a knife to Hicran’s throat and that they had a baby with this union.
65-year-old Yaşar Şahin was arrested and sent to prison. Hicran’s family reunited with their daughter 20 days later.
