CHANEL’S NEW CAMPAIGN HAS WHITNEY PEAK

Chanel brings us together with our source who focuses on the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite high society! Whitney Peak, leaving the streets of the Upper East Side, is seen on the streets of Dumbo with Chanel’s campaign. Whitney Peak, star of the new ‘Gossip Girl’ adaptation, is the face of Chanel’s newest campaign film. The campaign, shot by Inez & Vinoodh, takes a behind-the-scenes look at New York nights.

In the campaign, designed as a tribute to New York nightlife, Whitney Peak is located on the Hudson riverside in Chanel’s new we see the icon with Chanel 22. In the campaign film, “Hello, it’s me. I’m leaving this as an audio recording because it’s too long to text,” Peak, who can be heard saying, plunges into New York nights. In the campaign film showing Whitney’s daily life, we hear voice messages such as “I missed you” “You really liked it” “I wish you could be there”.

Whitney’s evening, going to an unknown place with her Chanel 22 bag, begins while she is getting ready on the toilet. Contrary to the feminine silhouettes of Chanel, Whitney prefers the rebellious style of New York and wears a light-colored embroidered jeans from the 90s inspired collection of the brand. Complementing her style with a beret and plaid jacket, Whitney represents Chanel’s current inspiration.

In addition to micro tweed bags, Chanel designs a larger and hobo-style bag with the Chanel 22 model, and uses the iconic quilted leather and chain details in this design. We are sure to see this bag in the arms of the fashion ‘it-girls’! Within the scope of the new campaign, Chanel’s brand ambassadors Lily-Rose Depp and Margaret Qualley bring their daily lives to the lens of Inez & Vinoodh, just like Whitney Peak.
