The first screening of the movie “Liberation Line”, adapted from a true story with Selman Kayabaşı in the director’s chair, was screened in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. . The film only focuses on the thousands of difficult stories experienced during the National Struggle. On the other hand, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop, some deputies, the director and screenwriter of the film Selman Kayabaşı, the actors and the employees of the Assembly attended the screening of the Liberation Line, which describes the secret communication network that brought great importance to the War of Independence.

Şentop, in his speech at the opening of the film, underlined that opening the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has a very special and profound meaning, such as ensuring that the state sovereignty is not interrupted.
Indicating that this project is actually the sum of the small stories of many people, Şentop said, “Unfortunately, these have not been studied much. Especially in some countries where the cinema industry is very developed, there are more than one film made on very simple stories, some made on novels. However, there are thousands, tens of thousands of stories about our War of Independence and the opening of the Parliament. Telling them means telling the National Struggle,” he said.
On the other hand, Şentop thanked the director and actors of the film and Beyoğlu Mayor Haydar Ali Yıldız for their contributions.
THE ACTOR OF KURTULUŞ HATTI
Selman Kayabaşı, sitting in the director’s chair, also wrote the script for the movie. Yusuf Aytekin and Gülsim Ali share the lead roles in Liberation Line, there are names such as Emin Gürsoy, Nizam Namidar, Benian Dönmez, Hamdi Erdoğan, Kaan Turgut and Aybike Turan in the cast.The music of Kurtuluş Line, which was shot in 2021, belongs to Zeynep Alasya
