KENZO introduced the third of the series of capsule collections prepared by the brand’s Artistic Director Nigo for the 2022 Spring Summer season. Launched in April in flagship stores worldwide, the products are the most comprehensive capsule wardrobe since Nigo was appointed Artistic Director of KENZO in September 2021.
The third capsule collection revolves around denim. Nigo reinterprets Japanese denim, which has an important place in its design tradition, and combines it with the KENZO Boke Flower, which he designed when he came to the fashion house. The collection, which consists of eight pieces for women and seven pieces for men, is defined as unisex due to the nature of denim. The boke logo is embroidered on the backs of denim blouses and jackets, and on the pockets of denim pants and skirts. Tops with patch pockets, oversized t-shirts and casual t-shirts with pocket details reflect the core spirit of the capsule. The collection is preserved in the authentic blue of denim with the nude of gray and white.
KENZO Spring Summer 2022 Capsule Collections embody the philosophy underlying Nigo’s practice in the fashion house; It offers real wardrobe for the future connected to the wisdom of the past.
