Nevra Serezli, who gave life to the character of Dudu in the TV series Sihirli Mom, which marked a period, made a surprising confession.
Nevra Serezli, one of the masters of Turkish theater, was the guest of the program titled Biz Biz in A Para. Serezli, who returned to the stage with the play Trees Die Standing 11 years later, shared a memory about this play.
Stating that he wanted to play this character when he was still a student, Serezli talked about those years and how the role came to him with these words:
“11 “A year later, I returned to the stage with the play Trees Die Standing. We played 45 plays and then the pandemic began. We have been re-enacting the play for a while and it attracts a lot of attention. A grandmother’s story written by a Spanish writer in the 1950s. I remember the first time I watched this play. I was a student in college… “Macide Tanır was honoring it and it was a huge hit. I even wrote to her in 1963 and said I want to play this role. I was lucky enough to play this role in 2019. Nedim Saban put it on stage with a modern structure.”
