The legendary fashion brand Off-White, led by the visionary Virgil Abloh until his death in November 2021, took its first step into the beauty world and released four genderless fragrances. The new beauty line, called “Paperwork,” is a collection (re)imagined as an innovative toolkit designed to celebrate diversity and inspire self-expression.
Paperwork invites all people to strengthen their individuality and celebrate their potential. It uses fun technology and non-conformist values to empower sexual expression, challenging everyone to expand their potential beyond traditional beauty.
The fragrance series is called “Solution”. 01 is a woody fragrance with notes of bergamot, sage, seaweed and patchouli. 02 A brighter, more citrus scent with notes of mandarin, ginger, lemon and coriander. 03 is a spicy floral fragrance with notes of pepper, musk and rose. Finally, 04 features notes of eucalyptus, bamboo and palo santo for a brighter, woody fragrance.
Abloh created these perfumes in collaboration with perfumers such as Alexis Dadier, Sidonie Lanceseur and Jerome Epinette, all of whom are working on best-selling fragrances. While Off-White’s current assortment currently only includes perfumes, colorful cosmetics are on the horizon, including pigmented face and body crayons and beauty stencils that you might have seen on celebrities like Kendall Jenner on the runway. Also in the collection is a range of nail polishes with six different finishes.
