April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was celebrated in Başakşehir People’s Garden with the contributions of TRT. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan met with the children in the program held yesterday, after their intense iftar program.

Sharing the photos she took with the children from the event on her social media account, First Lady Erdoğan also tagged TRT and said, “We were very happy to be a part of our children’s holiday excitement at the #23 April Children’s Festival, which was held this year by TRT in Başakşehir National Garden. I would like to thank the @trt family for making a holiday,” he said.
