“I WAS VERY REFRESHED WHILE BRINGING WITNESSES”

Expressing that she is happy because her family is Muslim, Rana said, “My mother He became a Muslim after we came to Turkey. My grandfather also later became a Muslim. I always saw him reading the Qur’an. But my grandfather never pressured me to become a Muslim. Every time I saw my grandfather reciting the Qur’an, I wondered about Islam. My curiosity increased with each passing day. I researched Islam more and more and decided to become a Muslim. Today, I was very relieved when I brought the kalima-i shahada.”

Demirtaş presented Rana Gasanova with religious works in Russian published by the Directorate of Religious Affairs after the ceremony. )
