Entrepreneur Nida Beyoğlu Arslan, who lives in Mersin and has transformed the packaging business she inherited from her father into a duct tape production factory, exports to 25 countries.

BonaBant Chairman of the Board Arslan started the production of duct tape in 2018 in the packaging business he took over from his father. After the branding process, the female entrepreneur, who produced duct tape in acrylic, transparent and printed varieties, received high demand from abroad as well as domestically.

Arslan stated that the interest in products is gradually increasing, and conveyed the following:

“The business I took over from my father was in a different sector. We turned it into duct tape production . With the branding process, we have also made it to domestic e-commerce sites, We sell products to wholesalers, factories and foreign countries.”

Stating that the closed area of ​​the enterprise has reached 5 thousand square meters, Arslan said that they produce 5 thousand tons of tape annually.

Arslan stated that they are also carrying out R&D studies to increase the tape types, and said:

“We produce acrylic glue in the quality we want. We also produce and ship the tapes according to the demands of the customers. Types and colors may change according to the demands. In Turkey, transparent tape is generally used in the western part, while the southern part uses yellow and orange. Such differences are also evident. We produce by satisfying our customers in the best way possible. We will soon start the production of paper tapes.”

Stating that they are also proud of exporting, Nida Beyoğlu Arslan said:

“We export our products to 25 countries. We also receive distributorship offers from these countries. Mainly “We are exporting to European and Middle Eastern countries. Today, whatever you do in every field, you have to use duct tape. We are very happy in terms of export. We also reduce the import of tape and acrylic glue.”

Arslan stated that they want to contribute more to the Turkish economy by increasing exports and said, “Our exports were 3.5 million dollars last year. This made us really happy. “We have started. We aim to increase our turnover, to triple the figure of last year. We employ 45 people in our business. Women dominate our office and sales staff. Currently, we have 15 female employees.” made its assessment.
