Frankies Bikinis, the favorite swimwear and bikini brand of many celebrities, knocked on Gigi Hadid’s door this time. Gigi Hadid, childhood friend of Francesco Aiello, the founder and Creative Director of Frankies Bikinis, decided to meet her close friend in an unexpected collaboration. Gigi Hadid, who designed a new collection called Gigi x Frankies Bikini, is here with her beach and home wear pieces.
“This collection was created with my friend and my heart and it is very special to me,” said Gigi Hadid, “We knew each other before our dreams came true. We designed this collection with great love and I believe this is reflected in all the details, patterns and styles of the fabrics. Both Frank and I have a very social life, but we are also very home-loving and this collection reflects both sides of us. I hope you like our designs too,” he added.
“Gigi is very special to me and definitely an inspiration. She is very creative, hardworking, kind and loving, and combining these amazing traits with our deep-rooted friendship made it even more fun to work on and shoot this collection,” Aiello said, adding that she was delighted to be collaborating with Hadid. .
The 98-piece Gigi x Frankies Bikinis collection, shot by Alana O’Herlihy, another close friend of Hadid and Aiello, is out May 11 will be available on the brand’s website. The second part of the collection will be on sale on June 2. Gigi Hadid, who previously collaborated with Reebok and Tommy Hilfiger, once again put on her designer hat with the Frankies Bikinis collection!
