Digital platform Paramount Plus has chosen the leading roles for The Turkish detective series, which is expected to be released in 2023. It has been reported that the shooting of the series, starring Haluk Bilginer and Yasemin Allen, will begin this month in Istanbul.
Global’s digital publishing platform, Paramount Plus, is based on the 24 novel series “The Cetin Ikmen Crime Novels” written by the famous British crime writer Barbara Nadel. It was announced that the series will have 8 episodes.
SHOOTING STARTS IN ISTANBUL!
It has been learned that shooting will begin this month in Istanbul, with the partnership of Miramax, Ay Yapım and Paramount, for the project, which will revolve around the characters of detectives Çetin İkmen and Mehmet Süleyman.

The leading actors selected for The Turkish Detective TV series project, Haluk Bilginer, will portray the character of Detective Çetin İkmen, while Yasemin Allen will portray the character of Detective Ayşe Farsakoğlu.

The Turkish Detective will be released on the Paramount Plus platform, which currently operates in only a few countries. It has been learned that Paramount Global Content Distribution will undertake the distribution in the remaining countries.
