Famous singer Rafet El Roman was sued for allegedly violating rights by publishing his works named ‘Lügat’ and ‘Yadigar’ without the consent of musician Kerim Neşe Büyükarslan. The court ordered Rafet El Roman to share 20 thousand Euros.
Rafet El Roman, whose voice was admired in the 90’s, is in trouble with the works called ‘Lügat ve Yadigar’, which he introduced to the audience in 2013-2014. Singer Rafet El Roman went to court on the allegation that the works named ‘Lügat’ and ‘Yadigar’, which belonged to Kerim Neşe Büyükarslan, were published without the consent of the famous musician and violated his rights.

In the petition, “The attitude of Rafet El Roman and music companies is bad enough to prevent Büyükarslan from rising.” It is an intentional attitude” and it was demanded that 20 thousand Euros be paid as a penal clause.
WILL PAY 20 THOUSAND EURO
The case before the Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Rights Civil Court has been decided. The court decided that the lawsuit filed by Kerim Neşe Büyükarslan was partially accepted, and that Rafet El Roman and the production company paid a penalty fee of 20 thousand Euros. Claims for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages were denied.
