Kadir Doğulu and Neslihan Atagül, who got married in 2016, came to the fore when they joined the Bektashi sect recently. Chatting with members of the press in front of the place he came to meet his friends, Kadir Doğulu talked about being called a “Dervish”.

Answering questions about the sect, Doğulu said, “These are very valuable issues. That’s not the point. It’s a spirituality. We also have a very valuable word. It is not clear who has faith with money. This position was given to us. We try to show it as much as we can in our lives with our house, work and stance. My neighbor knows, my relatives know. This is not something to throw off the air. This is an office. In Turkey, the name of the tariqa is very dirty. The sect I was reminded of when I was a child were maniacal people coming out of dark rooms. It’s not the cult. The spiritual journey awakens people, does not put them to sleep, does not distract, tells you the truth. The person who learns and discovers that truth also seeks his or her right.”
The successful actress, who continued her words after the insistent questions of the members of the press, said, “Come to my house. My house has no door, it has a threshold. Our door is open to everyone,” he said.
