There’s a new contouring trend on the internet and it’s not Kim Kardashian who’s leading the trend! We heard about the contour trend in makeup from Kim Kardashian years ago. We can that we watched Youtube videos for hours admit to specialize in contours, which was once one of the most sought-after techniques of makeup styles. After many attempts, she had mastered full contours, but this makeup trend had quickly disappeared! Fortunately, in 2022, the return of the contour is in question. Moreover, now, TikTok is the pioneer of this make-up technique!

Beauty influencer Serena Lakkiss, who has accessed the sharpest and most dramatic contour lines we’ve seen recently, shared her technique on TikTok. This video, which went viral quickly, was tried by many influencers on the internet. Using tape for this technique, Lakkis attaches two strips of tape to her cheeks to follow the contour line. In short, there are two things you need: a tape from your stationery or in your drawer and a contour pencil! After sticking the tapes on your cheeks, you apply your contour or bronzer pencil from your mouth line to your cheekbones. After you distribute the contour you apply with your hand or with a make-up sponge, you remove the tapes. And voila! In just a few seconds, your professional contour makeup is ready.

This straight contour line, which is a bit difficult to reach on your own, becomes much easier with tape. After the tape technique, you are ready to go out with mascara, lipstick or just your prominent cheekbones. Long live TikTok!
