Singer Özcan Deniz and Feyza Aktan, whom she divorced with incidentally, received a blow from her brother-in-law Ercan Deniz. Özcan Deniz’s older brother, Ercan Deniz, filed a lawsuit claiming that he bought the rental car, did not return it and used it for years.
Feyza Aktan, when she was married to Özcan Deniz, started to drive a vehicle belonging to the DNZ car rental company owned by Özcan Deniz’s brother Ercan Deniz. After the news of the separation of the couple, DNZ company sent a warning for the return of the vehicle Aktan was using.
DECLARED THAT HE WILL NOT RETURN
After the warning sent by DNZ, Aktan sent a counter- warning He stated that all the expenses of the vehicle should be covered by Özcan Deniz, and that Deniz is a company employee and allocated it specifically for him. Stating that the vehicle was allocated to him by the Istanbul Family Court after the protocol, Aktan declared that he would not deliver the vehicle.
DNZ REQUESTED THE RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
Against Aktan’s feedback, DNZ firm, regarding the incident He filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for the vehicle in Bodrum. The company demanded that the vehicle was allocated for only one day, that Aktan caused damage to the vehicle, and therefore the vehicle was confiscated and returned by the law enforcement officers.
INVESTIGATION STARTED
After the notification, an investigation was initiated by the prosecutor’s office. Aktan testified as part of the investigation. In his statement, Aktan stated that Özcan Deniz had given him the vehicle as a gift, and he had clearly stated this in the divorce protocol.
2 YEARS PRISON WANTED
The prosecution filed a lawsuit on the grounds that the vehicle belonging to DNZ company was not returned and did not deliver the vehicle despite the warning opened. He stated that Deniz’s allocation of the vehicle to be his own was contrary to the ordinary situation of life. Both the lawsuit filed with the crime of breach of trust and the prison lawsuit filed for up to 2 years in, Aktan will be tried at the Criminal Court of First Instance.
