“This bag and my mouth that talks about freedom, equality and justice never shut. The solidarity I share with the We Will Stop Murders of Women Platform, Women’s Councils, Purple Roof Foundation, Strive for Sexual Violence Association and many other non-governmental organizations, the courage I get from the faces of the people I hug at the rallies I attend, learning to look at each other beyond colors/languages/identities/belief systems and biological genders… I begin to call myself my lady, I learn to lessen the effects of the oppressive power institutional tools that control my body, mind and soul… I learn to shout… I learn to raise my hand… No, I don’t! I don’t learn to say… I gain the range of vision that will remove someone who despises me, consumes my material and moral resources, hits me… Then I learn to read like every medical manipulation reads poetry… Even though I still fall into traps, I don’t fall into deep wells as before… I don’t love myself, I learn to keep friends without jealousy and judgment … I learn a lot from womanhood, from my labor, from our joint effort and from standing up to lawmakers and seeking our rights, the rights of murdered children and women. As long as I’m a woman together, this doesn’t happen by being born. You need to learn about femininity. It is necessary to learn to flourish in this black soil, to make a sound, to risk death. I am proud of us. We are about to meet in the Feminist Night March, in the squares and on the streets. Take my love, add it to the sea in your brave hearts.”
